Welder HelperOklahoma City OK - OKC, OK 73129OverviewPosition Type Full TimeDescriptionMidwest Hose is seeking a dependable and hardworking Welding Department Helper to assist with daily fabrication and finishing operations. This position supports the welding team by preparing materials, polishing and grinding finished products, palletizing completed work, and operating saw equipment safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPolish and grind welded assemblies and metal componentsPalletize finished products for shipping or storageOperate saw and grinding equipment to cut materials to specificationsAssist welders and fabrication personnel with production tasksMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety procedures and quality standardsInspect materials and finished products for defects or inconsistenciesMove materials and parts throughout the production area as neededQualificationsPrevious manufacturing or shop experience preferredAbility to safely operate hand tools and industrial equipmentAbility to read measuring devices and follow written instructionsStrong attention to detail and work qualityAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsDependable attendance and positive attitudeForklift operating experience is a plusAbout Us: Midwest Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting wholesale distributors in North America.
