Job description
WelderOperates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.We are looking for a talented Welder to join our (Henderson, CO) location.You will make an impact in the following ways:Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.Use appropriate personal protective equipment.Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.Performs quality inspections.Identifies and controls non-conforming material.Fully proficient with all work processes, independently operating equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability.Achieves production goals.Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.External Qualifications and CompetenciesIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.Medical Evaluation & Respirator Fit-Test will be requiredAdditional Responsibilities Unique to this PositionMedical Evaluation & Respirator Fit-Test will be requiredRequired Experience:MIG Welding (GMAW)Read tape measureUnderstand basic welding terminology and symbolsAngle grinderPreferred Experience:ForkliftScissor LiftFall ProtectionOverhead CraneBand SawPlasma CutterFlux-Core Welding (FCAW)Oxygen-Acetylene TorchEducation, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
