Job description
Job TitleUnder direct supervision, spot welds together metal components.Fabricates and assembles metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Produces metal products according to specifications. Reads and interprets diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects. Sets up, operates and maintains welding equipment.QualificationsRequires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic ability to read engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. Requires precision control and dexterity. Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.CompensationThis is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $ /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
