Welder II - MIG/TIG/Flux CoreLocation: Covington, LA Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Position Type: Full-TimeEnjoy a 3-Day Weekend Every WeekExpress Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder II for a manufacturing facility in Covington. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with experience working on stainless steel and carbon steel materials using MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding processes.If you take pride in producing high-quality welds and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesWeld stainless steel and carbon steel parts and assembliesRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and welding proceduresProduce quality welds in various welding positionsInspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specificationsUse MIG, TIG, Flux Core, Stick, and oxy-acetylene welding equipmentGrind, clean, and finish welded componentsTroubleshoot welding equipment as neededMaintain production and quality recordsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical school training preferredMinimum of 1 year of welding experienceExperience with MIG, TIG, and Flux Core weldingAbility to read blueprints and welding symbolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and safelyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environmentAbility to wear required PPE and welding gearWhy Apply?Competitive pay of $25.00 - $30.00 per hourFull-time opportunityFour-day work weekThree-day weekend every weekOpportunity to work with an experienced manufacturing team
