WelderTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Read and interpret structural blueprints and fabrication drawingsLayout, measure, fit, and assemble structural steelWork with beams, columns, channels, angles, plate, and other structural componentsFit steel according to drawings and required measurementsMeasure and mark material for cutting and fabricationUse grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication toolsTack weld components into position for final weldingCheck assemblies for proper dimensions, alignment, square, and fitRequirements:Previous structural steel fitting experienceStrong blueprint and fabrication drawing reading skillsMust be able to accurately read a tape measureExperience laying out and fitting structural steelKnowledge of welding symbols and fit-up requirementsBe Safe from fraud!
