WelderBoise, IDFull-Time • Hourly • On-Site • Day Shift (5:00am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Overtime on Friday as needed)Join our team as a Welder and help build high-quality, industry-leading products. In this role, you'll use your welding skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety to fabricate and assemble structural components that keep our customers moving.Starting at $21.00 / hour + DOEWhat You'll DoInterpret layout drawings, welding diagrams, and work orders to plan daily tasksSet up equipment and prepare work area for welding operationsLay out, position, align, and fit components in jigs/fixturesTack, weld, and assemble components using flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead techniquesInspect welds for bead size, quality, and accuracy; perform pressure testsGrind, chip, or smooth welds to meet specificationsUse tools such as chop saws, plasma cutters, torches, and belt sandersRepair and rework metal components—including straightening, reshaping, dismantling, and reassemblingChange gas cylinders and weld wire as neededSafely operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), power buggies, hoists, and scissor liftsMaintain a safe work environment and follow all safety proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedMaintain regular and reliable attendanceWhat You'll NeedAbility to pass the Multiquip Welder Certification test within 3 months of hireStrong welding skills with experience in multiple welding positionsFamiliarity with fabrication tools and equipmentCommitment to safety, quality, and teamworkPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to stand and walk; frequently use hands and armsOccasionally stoop, kneel, or crouchAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularlyAble to stand for up to 10 hours in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentVisual abilities include close, peripheral, and depth perceptionExposure to weld gas, cleaners, spatter spray, and other chemicalsLoud work environment—hearing protection requiredCompensation & Benefits$21.00 / Hour$2.00 / hour increase upon passing weld certification at 90 days9 paid holidaysGenerous Paid Time Off – accruing at 4 weeks per yearPaid Volunteer Time OffPaid Parental LeaveComprehensive benefits package beginning the 1st of the month after 30 days, including:Medical, Dental, VisionLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsAccidental, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity InsuranceLegal Insurance401(k) with discretionary company matchTuition Reimbursement up to $5,250/yearEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Multiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.
