Job description
WelderAs a Gas Pipeline Welder, you will fabricate and assemble steel natural gas pipelines for residential and commercial customers ensuring the safety of peers and the community. What you'll do includes fabricating and installing steel natural gas main lines and services, inspecting, examining, and testing installed systems and pipelines, managing and maintaining welding equipment, supplies and material, repairing, restoring and installing gas pressure regulators and devices, modifying, cleaning, and maintaining pipe systems, units, and fittings, and performing other responsibilities as requested by leadership.What you'll have includes prior experience welding in gas utility industry, high school diploma or equivalent, commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first, and skill to operate equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities.What you'll get includes weekly payroll, employee discounts, paid time off/vacation, career development opportunities, 401K w/ company match, voluntary life insurance and short-term and long-term disability, competitive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage.Work environment includes work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, all worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English, work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling, work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment.
