Welder$41.69 Per hourU.S. Pipe is seeking a Welder to join our team in Lynchburg, VA. The Welder position supports as part of the Maintenance department in a heavy industrial manufacturing operation. Welders perform fabrication and repair of machine equipment, process piping, flue gas handling systems, structural components using multiple processes GMAW/FCAW/SMAW and occasionally GTAW working with ferrous and nonferrous metals, including cast iron.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintenance repair of industrial manufacturing equipment inside/outside plant, as needed.Fabrication of industrial equipment, in shop, as needed.Working from fabrication drawingsMulti-process welding experience GMAW/FCAW/SMAW/GTAW, brazing, cutting torch, plasma, carbon arc, band saw.
