WelderDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring welders for a leading company located in McGregor, MN. Read below for more information!What you'll do as a welder:Work from verbal instructions, prints, or work ordersSet up equipment, prepare surfaces to be welded, and weld partsUse hand tools such as grinders, portable spot welder, hammers, screw drivers, vise clamps, fixtures and jigs, etc.Read and layout parts to complex prints, and plan details of working procedurePerform complex weldsWhat you need to bring to the welder role:High school/GED or equivalent experience2+ years of MIG/TIG experience and ability to pass internal welding testWorking knowledge of the principles and methods of weldingSkill in operation of welding equipment and tools of the welding tradeMust have basic math skillsAbility to read blueprints and layout part to printsGood hand-eye coordinationDemonstrated ability to weld complex weldsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy you'll like working with Doherty Staffing Solutions:Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
