Job description
Welder – Mig WeldingLocation: Romeoville, IL Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Pay: $23 – $27 per hour, depending on experienceJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will meet or exceed all welding production standards with minimal supervision while serving as a safety leader, ensuring those around them work safely and efficiently.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Meet welding production standards, primarily using MIG welding processesRead and interpret blueprints and shop drawingsSet up equipment for various welding functionsMove equipment and materials to and from workstationsPerform quality fit-up for welding projectsWeld like metals and dissimilar metalsPosition Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience with MIG weldingExperience using standard shop tools and inspection measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)Basic math and computer skillsAbility to read blueprints and shop drawingsAbility to sit, stand, and walk throughout a 6-8 hour workdayAbility to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 poundsAdditional Information:Training will be provided on 1st shiftFull-time 2nd shift role (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)Competitive pay based on experienceIf you are a motivated welder with a commitment to safety and quality, we encourage you to apply today.
