Job description
Welder/Fabricator OpportunityAre you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for a long-term opportunity where you can use your welding and fabrication skills to build large industrial equipment from the ground up?This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity is with a manufacturer that builds heavy-duty industrial cleaning equipment used on roads, airport runways, warehouses, parking garages, and other large surfaces.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys custom fabrication and building, rather than performing the same repetitive weld all day!Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:MIG and TIG weld steel and aluminum componentsPerform structural welding on machine framesFabricate parts using blueprints and drawingsMeasure, cut, fit, grind, drill, and prepare metalUse fabrication equipment and hand/power toolsAssemble welded components into finished equipmentInspect welds and finished work for quality and accuracyAssist with hydraulic components and assembly as neededWelder/Fabricator Requirements:Strong MIG welding and fabrication experienceTIG and aluminum welding experience highly preferredStructural welding experienceAbility to read and fabricate from blueprintsStrong tape measure skills and ability to work with fractionsExperience with cutting, grinding, fitting, drilling, and layoutPrevious manufacturing or heavy fabrication experienceAbility to pass a background check and drug screenExperience building heavy equipment, trailers, industrial machinery, structural steel, or custom-fabricated products is a plus!Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PMOvertime: Fridays as neededPay: $26–$30/hr, depending on experiencePay Frequency: WeeklyLocation: Phoenix, AZJob Type: Full-time, Temp-to-HireIf you're an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for a long-term opportunity where you can put your skills to work building something from the ground up, apply today!Verstela is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law.
