Welder – Stainless Steel MIG | Custom FabricationLocation: Eden PrairieEmployment Type: Full-Time | Direct HireWe're seeking a skilled Welder to join a stable, growing manufacturing team in the South Metro. This role focuses on custom stainless steel MIG welding for heavy-duty equipment used in the fertilizer industry. If you prefer hands-on, non-repetitive fabrication work and take pride in craftsmanship, this is a strong opportunity.What You'll Be BuildingYou'll fabricate rugged, custom equipment designed for demanding agricultural environments, including:Blenders and mixersBucket elevators and conveyorsRotary drumsCustom fertilizer bins and tanksThis is custom fabrication—not production-line welding—so projects are varied and engaging.What You'll DoPerform stainless steel MIG welding on custom industrial equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawingsWeld using.035–.045 flux-core and hardwire MIGWeld 1/16" to 1/4" mild steel and stainless steel (pipe, sheet, plate, channel)Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsComplete custom welds in, on, and around tanksMaintain high standards for quality and safetyWhat We're Looking ForWelding certification, diploma, or equivalent hands-on MIG welding experienceStrong blueprint reading skillsStainless steel welding experience preferredAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding positionsComfortable working in varied positions (bending, kneeling, crawling)Work EnvironmentLaid-back, team-oriented shopStrong focus on quality and craftsmanship—not production quotasCustom projects that change regularly, keeping the work interestingJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Belle Plaine, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
