Job description
MIG Welding PositionEssential ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on steel components and assembliesRead and interpret work orders, drawings, and production specificationsOperate welding equipment and basic fabrication tools safelyInspect weld quality and ensure products meet company standardsAssist with fitting, grinding, and material preparation as neededMaintain clean and organized work areasFollow all company safety policies and PPE requirementsWork with supervisors and team members to meet production goalsAssist in other production areas when neededQualificationsPrevious MIG welding experience preferred but not requiredManufacturing or fabrication experience preferred but not requiredAbility to read tape measures and basic drawingsAbility to lift, move, and handle steel materialsStrong attention to detail and qualityDependable attendance and punctuality requiredAbility to work overtime when necessaryPhysical RequirementsStanding for extended periods of timeFrequent lifting, bending, and repetitive motionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and steel materialsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
