Job description

Welder Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Welding of conveyor componentsResponsibilitiesWelding and fabrication in barrel of fabrication departmentCompliance with all Safety rules and regulationsUtilize and embrace lean manufacturing activities and other cost reduction activitiesPerform other duties as assignedMust be able to work assigned shift and over time as needed (including weekends when necessary) 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs) overtime on Fridays is to be expected.Physical RequirementsStanding, crouching and/or bending 10+ hours a dayLifting – maximum of 40 lbs. Overhead crane is used for larger itemsRepetitive motion – tighten bolts and nutsEnvironment – factory, high noise area, welding & grindingExposure to elements – factory, no air-conditioningExposure to chemicals – weld smokeEducation/TrainingMust have high school diploma or GEDMig and stick welding vocation training desired but not requiredExperience NecessaryMig and stick weldingSkills RequiredMust pass internal welding testMust be able to read a tape measure and read blue printsMust be able to use air, power and hand tools, especially a torch and grinderMust be mechanically inclinedPay scale = $18.50-$26.00/hourIf you are interested in an open position but feel you may not meet all the listed qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.About Terex:Terex Corporation is a global leader in specialized equipment solutions, serving essential sectors such as emergency services, waste and recycling, utilities, and construction.
