Welders WantedTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Shreveport, LA area. This is a first & second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Layout, fit, align, and secure metal parts for assemblyPrepare metal surfaces by removing rust, slag, grease, and contaminantsPerform MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, Plasma, Resistance, and Submerged Arc weldingWeld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsBolt, rivet, and assemble structural steel components as requiredGrind, chip, clean, and finish welds using hand and power toolsUse measuring tools such as calipers, squares, rulers, and tape measures to ensure accuracyRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld specificationsPerform weld inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing processCollaborate with the Quality Control team and on-site Weld InspectorInspect welds and verify compliance with welding procedures and specificationsDocument inspection findings and report quality issues to the QC teamSupport production quality during temporary QC team training coverageRequirementsMust have weld inspection certificationsAll PPECompany DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe Safe from fraud!
