Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.What You Will Experience In This Position:Interpret blueprints and collaborate with the Lead person to confirm job requirements.Gather necessary materials and perform layout work according to specifications.Set up welding machines and adjust settings for various applications.Weld steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials in multiple positions and joint configurations.Inspect welds for quality, repairing defective joints as needed.Operate cutting torches and manual plasma cutters when required.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by performing regular housekeeping duties.You Have:High School Diploma or GEDAt least one year of welding experienceAble to read tape measures and blueprintsAbility to properly operate welding equipment.Must be trained in applicable SOPs and work instructionsSkilled in utilizing cutting torches, brushes, pads, buffers, grinders, overhead cranes, and rubber hammersAbilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:Standing /Walking for extended periods of time,Lift up to 50lbs.Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.Wear the required PPE for the given position.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.Willingness to work in different environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.We Have:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customers.
