Job description
Job TitleThe compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's level of experience. Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts, possibility of overtime on FridaysEssential Functions of the Job:Maintain clean, safe and organized work environmentWeld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)Setting & adjusting settings of weld equipmentInspect welds for accuracyOccasionally use hand plasmaOccasionally reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSetting up components for welding according to specificationsOccasionally operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be weldedAlign components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp piecesTest and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
