Job description

Pipe Fitter/WelderLayout, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of piping systems, structural steel, pumps and equipment in the commercial and industrial environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and weld techniques.Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torch, straightening press, and hand tools.Detect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.At least 5+ years of practical welding is required.Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade and general construction environment.Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used.Certification at one or more levels is required.Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.Benefits and Perks:Excellent wagesOpportunity for career growthPaid Holidays (8)Paid Time Off (PTO)401k w/ employer contributionHealthcare w/ employer contributionPaid life and disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceVision careDental careDiscounts at major cell phone and auto companies*All offers are predicated upon successfully passing a drug test and background check.We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
