WelderTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Portage, IN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Set up & operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welding equipmentRead blueprints and AWS weld symbolsLay out, cut, fit, tack and weld metal components to tight tolerancesOperate plasma cutters, grinders, band saws, and drill pressesPerform quality checksInspect for quality and dimensional accuracyOperate overhead/jib cranes and forkliftsBe Safe from fraud! Tradesmen International will never ask you to pay for certifications, equipment, or other "up front" costs as a condition of hire.
