Job description
Job TitleShift: Weekdays 06:00 AM - 04:30 PMResponsibilitiesFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.Fabricate small components and complete production and quality assurance forms.Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.Interface with engineering to accurately communicate information.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities or events as required.Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements and follow 5S activities.Read and follow standard work, BOMs, blueprints, routings, specifications, and other diagrams/instructions to paint parts and equipment accurately and timely.Obtain necessary tools and equipment and handle materials manually or with a jib crane, performing own hitching as required.Maintain high-quality standards and consistently maintain productivity levels as determined by management.Prepare machinery for shipping.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 3 years of experience in a custom build shop preferred.Ability to read and understand blueprints and operate a computer to read and input data.Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.Ability to read and interpret 3D prints/schematics to complete standard work.Employee is required to wear appropriate PPE such as steel toe boots and safety glasses.Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb.Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.Employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products.Preferred Skills2 years of MIG experience preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.Ability to hold themselves accountable for results.Safety-minded with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.Desire to win.
