This role requires strong MIG welding skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on mild steel and occasional stainless steel materialsPrepare materials through measuring, layout, fitting, tacking, grinding, sanding, and finishingInspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality and accuracyOperate and maintain welding equipment and related toolsTrack and replenish welding consumables as neededFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspaceCollaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlinesRequired QualificationsHands-on MIG welding experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExperience working with large parts and equipment such as overhead cranes or rolling machineryBasic computer proficiencyStrong commitment to quality, safety, and teamworkPreferred Skills & ExperienceAdditional welding experience with SAW, TIG, or Oxy-Acetylene processesExperience in fabrication, manufacturing, autobody repair, mechanical assembly, or related skilled tradesFamiliarity with welding automation systems and Lean Manufacturing practicesStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipDependable work ethic and positive team-oriented attitudeJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
