Job description
Welder Position at Francis Manufacturing CompanyFrancis Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder for first shift. Hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.This position will train with our current TIG production welder on competent aluminum welding for castings and will work part of the time in weld on a regular basis, filling in based upon production needs. When not working in welding, this position will also work in the Grinding Department. Grinders are responsible for grinding and smoothing seams and rough edges off of our castings before they are sent to our customers using various grinding equipment.Experience with TIG welding with aluminum is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a weld background. Experience with Grinding also preferred, but training is provided on the job. Great work ethic, initiative, and team work are all a plus. Good attendance is required.Francis Manufacturing Company works with area staffing agencies and you will initially be hired through an agency for approximately 8 weeks.
