Job description
MIG Welder/ FabricatorWe are seeking a skilled welder with a minimum of three years of MIG welding experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading structural steel blueprints and tape measures, and fabricating steel and aluminum into shapes according to customer specifications. Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a valid driver's license, are required.Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding with precision and skill.Read and interpret structural steel blueprints.Use tape measures accurately for measurements.Fabricate steel and aluminum into specified shapes.Maintain organization and clear communication within the team.Essential Skills:Minimum three years of MIG welding experience.Proficient in reading tape measures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Valid driver's license.Good organizational and communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Local candidates to the Ridgeland area are preferred.Why Work Here?We offer a robust benefits package including 401(k) matching up to 20%, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance through United Healthcare, life insurance, and paid time off. The standard work week is 50 hours, Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with most Saturdays offering half-day overtime.Job Type & Location:This is a contract to hire position based out of Ridgeland, SC.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
