Welder PositionEssential duties and responsibilities include:Weld products using MIG at a standard rateUse drawings to fit-up productsUse personal tools to help with tasksWork with other welders on big projectsMeet quality standards and document themDesign and build jigs and fixtures when neededInteract with engineering for clarity and problem-solvingUse TIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding when requiredInterpret drawings for large/complex weldmentsMentor less experienced team membersLead and coordinate team members on large projectsOther duties as assignedQualifications include:Pass pre-employment math & measurement testPass MIG weld testReading mechanical drawings, including weld symbols preferredEducation and experience include:High School Diploma or GED equivalentWelding certificate from high school or trade school preferred5 years of experience requiredMathematical skills include:Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Convert decimals to fractions and vice versaRead a tape measure within 1/16"Work environment:1st or 2nd shift available Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS)ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical and Professional positions.
