Job description
Job TitleSets up and operates saw to cut materials to required length or shape by performing the following duties.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, band speed, clamping pressure, and special instructions.Positions and secures workpiece in saw vises.Maintains direct flow of coolant against saw blade and work piece.Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.Sets up and operates saw.Issues raw materials to jobs and maintains accurate inventory and location of raw materials.Inspects parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection data.Performs periodic preventative maintenance to assigned machines and notifies supervisor or manager of any problems with assigned machines.Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the CNC Department when needed.Cleans and organizes work area.Benefits:Health, dental, vision, company paid for short term disability, and more!Birthday pay and 6 paid holidays!2 weeks paid parental leave!80 hours of vacation in your first 6 months!Company events and summer food trucks!Physical demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
