Job TitleSpecialty Pulley, Inc. (SPI) is a manufacturer of industrial material handling components specializing in welding services since 2008. Our team provides superior quality manual and robotic welding services. We are proud to contribute our quality USA-made products to support the strength of our local community, economy, and nation.The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of, and ability to read prints, be able to read a tape measure, know the difference between various kinds of structural steel, be able to weld in the flat position at a minimum, and have the knowledge to set up their welding machine and space. Although a welding certificate is not required, welding experience and the ability and desire to learn and grow is essential. SPI manufactures equipment for the material handling industry.Key responsibilities include fabricating and repairing metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques, collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and continuously improving welding techniques and processes to enhance productivity.Skills required include a positive work ethic and attitude, being trainable and eager to learn, ability and willingness to follow directions, being a team player, and good attendance.Knowledge required includes basic knowledge of reading prints, ability to read a tape measure, understanding of various kinds of structural steel, and knowledge to set up welding machines and space.Ability to implement includes ability to weld in the flat position at a minimum, welding experience, and the ability and desire to learn and grow.Benefits include competitive pay based on experience, starting from $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, 100% employer-paid health insurance benefit and HSA for employees, flexible paid time off and holidays, 401(k) with employer matching, and discretionary bonuses.We are excited to welcome new talent to our team!
