WelderTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in or around Spokane, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Welding materials (mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum) based on blueprintsInspecting welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to blueprintsSetting up and operate welding machines, including turning on equipment and adjusting settingsOperating forklift as neededMaintain a clean and safe work environmentCommunicate quality or machinery issues to management as they ariseOther tasks as assignedRequirements:Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprintsProficiency in shop math and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to determine material types and gaugesAttention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbsPreferred:AWS D1.1, D1.6, D1.2 certificationsAbility to use shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)Be Safe from fraud!
