Job TitleResponsibilitiesPractice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures and Job Safety AnalysisAbility to work towards continuous improvement of product qualityPerform all position welding following prescribed proceduresMust be able to position fabricated components in fit-up jigs and fixtures and use turning rigs when necessaryResponsible for the high quality of product and good safety habitsResponsible for the safety and training of othersResponsible for compliance with all documented procedures and employee handbookResponsible for the quality and quantity of the finished productResponsible for creating and maintaining a working team environmentResponsible for maintaining good housekeepingResponsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on associated equipmentResponsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervisionBe able and required to weld all products within the business unitMust be willing to cross train and fill in as necessary in other departmentsPerform any additional tasks as requested by the Team LeaderQualificationsMinimum of 1 year welding experience.Be able to read assemblies, and welds from blueprints.Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be weldedMonitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkageMust be able to read a tape measure and be trained to operate overhead crane
