Job TitleReads blueprints/drawingsTakes/reads measurementsOperates machinery such as grinders, band saws, etc.Loads metal parts/tubing into fixturesAligns parts using calipers, rulers, clamps, etc.Ensures proper fitment of partsTack welds parts togetherMIG & TIG welds parts under supervision of more experienced weldersStages jobs for Welder II's and III'sAssists Welder's II & III's as neededOther duties as assignedRequirements1 – 2 years on the job (MIG & TIG) welding experienceExperience using saws, welder machines, tools, etc.Knowledge of PPE (face shields, welder helmets, gloves, steel toes, curtains, etc)Commitment to excellent quality standardsCommitment to safetyAbility to read and speak English fluentlyHelpful, friendly & positive attitudeHigh School diploma/GED requiredExperience welding stainless steel a plusWelding Certification Program (AWS) a plusOther DetailsPeriodic lifting (up to 50lbs.)Sustained periods of standing
