From massive storage tanks to specialized chemical, food-grade, fuel, and water systems, their custom-built products serve customers across the country and around the world.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $21.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)Weld and fabricate storage tanks, pressure vessels, and other industrial equipment according to blueprints and specifications.Perform MIG/flux-core welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly of heavy-gauge steel components.Measure, align, and fit materials to ensure proper dimensions, weld quality, and structural integrity.Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.Safely operate welding machines, torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.Welder Qualifications:2+ years of welding/fabrication experience, preferably with tanks, vessels, pressure vessels, or heavy industrial fabrication.Proficiency with MIG welding, flux-core, and/or other welding processes, with the ability to produce clean, structurally sound welds.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, measurements, and fabrication drawings.Must be comfortable working with heavy steel, power tools, and fabrication equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.High school diploma/GED preferred; relevant welding certifications or technical training are a plus.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
