Welder PositionOur client, a leading manufacturing company in Watertown SD, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Welding and Fabrication Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a solid work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Welder Location: Watertown SD Pay Range: 23.00 an hourWhat's the Job?Set up and safely operate advanced welding equipment, including robotic weldersInspect finished products to ensure conformance to quality and safety standardsTroubleshoot and make adjustments to welding machines to maintain production efficiencyPerform repair work that meets appearance and quality expectationsParticipate in continuous improvement activities and mentor new weldersWhat's Needed?Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and follow written/verbal instructionsGood problem-solving skills with strong attention to safety and qualityAbility to perform repetitive physical tasks and stand for an entire shiftBasic data entry skills for logging maintenance or breakdown information1 year of welding experience preferred but not requiredWhat's in it for me?Multiple shift options: 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs, 5am–3pm2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs, 3pm–1am (+3 dollar/hr differential)Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun, 6am–6pm (+4.50 dollar/hr differential)Overtime opportunitiesGrowth potential within a company focused on employee developmentStable, long-term employment with a safety-driven organizationOpportunity to learn robotic welding systems and expand welding skillsIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
