Job description
Welder (USA)Schedule: Friday to Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.Location: Groveton, NHReport to: Production ForemanThe Welder will fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welding, cutting, shaping, and measuring tools. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure high-quality production output.Job ResponsibilitiesFabricate metal components needed for productionManually weld fabricated partsExecute overhead, horizontal, vertical, and continuous welds with precisionPerform MIG welding operations on steel components.Properly set up and calibrate welding equipment for each unitRead, interpret, and follow engineering blueprints and technical drawingsOperate machinery, tools, and overhead cranes safely and efficientlyMeet or exceed production targets as established by Production ForemanMaintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work areaEnsure all components are correctly fitted and aligned before weldingAdhere to company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing PracticesParticipate and successfully complete all required safety trainingWilling to cross-train as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Production ForemanJob RequirementsTechnical degree in a related field or three or more years of comparable manufacturing experience deemed valid by the employerPreferred certification in blueprint reading or equivalent courseworkPreferred prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProven ability to perform high-quality welding in a manufacturing environmentExcellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsPhysically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbsMust pass a welding test as part of the hiring processCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPaid health insuranceLife and disability insuranceVision and Dental available (optional)Paid vacation and holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)On-the-job Training and Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral ProgramCompany Events and team-building initiatives$2.50/hour shift differential36 hours worked, paid to 40
