NCW is partnering with a leading industrial metals manufacturer in the Wellford, SC area to hire an experienced Welder. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing organization known for delivering high-quality metal products and exceptional customer service.

Position Summary:
As a Welder , you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components while ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
Utilize TIG welding techniques as required
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and fabrication layouts
Measure, mark, fit, and position materials for welding and assembly
Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, jigs, and hand tools
Inspect finished welds and completed assemblies for quality and specification compliance
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely move material throughout the facility
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required PPE
Support additional fabrication and production activities as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of welding experience in a steel fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
Strong MIG welding experience required
TIG welding experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections
Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to pass required vision, hearing, and mobility assessments
Ability to safely lift weight up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Selected candidates will participate in a registered apprenticeship program as part of the onboarding process
Schedule:
1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation:
$26.00-$29.00 per hour, based on experience
