It's exciting times to be at stow!Location: Adairsville, GAJob DescriptionThe Beam Line Welding Machine Operator sets up, programs, runs, and maintains automated welding robots, focusing on loading/unloading beams, reading blueprints, monitoring weld quality with gauges, performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring safety to produce consistent, high-quality beam components on the welding robotic cell, requiring strong attention to detail.Knowledge of the operation of machinesCapable of running Welding robots: handling, positioning robots, modifying welding positioning with supervisor permissionKnowledge of TCP Torch ControlUtilize the spare parts for small interventions on robots, contact tip, gas nozzle, gas distributorsPerform quality checks tape measure, bench and measuring station, automatic weld control camera and hook control cameraSetup & operation: Load/unload parts, position workpieces using jigs/fixtures, and initiate the robotic welding processProgramming: Input and adjust parameters (power, speed, pattern) for the robot controller based on engineering specsQuality control: Visually inspect welds, use measuring tools (gauges, calipers), and remove spatter to ensure parts meet specificationsMaintenance: Perform routine upkeep like cleaning nozzles, changing wire/tips, lubricating, and reporting malfunctionsTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve errors or system malfunctions during production runsDocumentation: Complete production logs, downtime reports, and quality recordsSafety & housekeeping: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and wear required PPEQualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing.Previous experience operating robotic welders preferred.Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of measuring tools.Detail-oriented, good problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of automated systems.Basic manual welding skills (MIG/TIG) preferred, certificate is a plusStrong attention to detail and precision.Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting.Physical ability to lift and move parts.Additional InformationWhat do we offer you?PTO, sick leave, 11 US paid holidaysMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, including Family coverageCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment401K with employer match, currently 4%Tobacco Free CampEEOStow US provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment. stow prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
