Welding SupervisorThe Welding Supervisor oversees hourly employees engaged in processing and welding, ensuring production meets established volume and quality targets and customer requirements.Weekend Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday - Sunday, with availability to work overtime as needed.Summary of Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesAccomplish Manufacturing Staff Results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and proceduresMaintains weld shop staff by selecting, orienting and training employees, developing personal growth opportunitiesCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summariesEnsure operation of equipment by calling for repair and the evaluation of equipmentPerform daily inspections on welded and fabricated components produced through processes such as laser cutting, brake, welding, and assemblyPerform daily safety observations, ensure PPE compliance and drive daily safety cultureEnsures accuracy of employee timecards and managed personnel PTO requestsManages the subassembly inventory and ensure enough supplyMinimum RequirementsMinimum of 5 years' welding experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceStrong knowledge of material processing and weldingExperience in fabrication, welding inspection, or heavy industrial manufacturingProficiency with precision measuring toolsExperience in blueprint reading and GD&TUnderstanding of the AWS D1.1 certificationBenefits401(k) with Company MatchSafety BonusHealth insurance – Medical/Prescription DrugDentalVisionHealth Savings AccountWellness StipendPaid Life insurancePaid Long-Term Disability InsurancePaid Short-Term Disability InsuranceAdoption Assistance (Financial)Adoption & Fertility Navigation SupportPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysReferral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee DiscountTuition reimbursementEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
