Job description
Join a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department with double physician coverage, APC support, and flexible 8–10 hour shifts at one of Central Virginia’s premier trauma centers
Practice Environment:
Level I Trauma Center and regional burn center
~68,000 annual ED visits
Separate adult and pediatric emergency departments
Full specialty backup including trauma surgery, ICU, and subspecialties
Team-based model with strong physician and APC collaboration
Schedule & Coverage :
Flexible scheduling with 8–10-hour shifts
Overlapping physician coverage across all shifts
Dedicated fast track and main ED workflows
