Whitewood Repair SpecialistCentury Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionPosition is responsible for inspecting whitewood products to ensure quality is being met.Essential DutiesUsing knowledgeable of different wood and veneer characteristics to determine repair action and qualityRefits drawers and doors as neededAssembles a piece of wood or veneer to product as neededObserves all scratches, dents, dips; repairing case to original product qualityUses different wood related hand toolsKeeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing dutiesMust follow all safety policies and proceduresAll other duties as assignedQualificationsPosition RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1 year of woodwork repair experience strongly preferredKnowledge of various hand sanders a plusPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
