Staff Accountant
Wicker Point Golf Club – Alexander City, Alabama

Position Summary
nWicker Point Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the club’s daily financial operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with member billing, and supporting monthly financial reporting. This is an on-site position based at Wicker Point Golf Club and is not a remote role.
nEssential Duties amp; Responsibilities
nnProcess accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments
nReconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and daily revenue reports
nAssist with member billing, collections, and account inquiries
nPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
nAssist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
nMaintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation
nMonitor inventory and expense reporting for clubhouse and golf operations
nCollaborate with department managers to ensure accurate coding and budgeting
nEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
nAssist with annual audits and tax documentation preparation
nProvide administrative and accounting support to the Controller or Chief Financial Officer as needed
n Qualifications
nnBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
nProficiency in Microsoft Excel
nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
nAbility to handle confidential information professionally
nExcellent communication and customer service skills
