Job description
Winder Inserter Pre Form Machine OperatorResponsible to wind the coil, insert the coil, and pre-form the coil in the core.Key ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESComply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Meets daily production schedule as assigned.Loads the winding shapes and winds the coil.Inserts the coils into the core.Loads the core and pre-forms the inserted coils.Performs required quality checks to ensure specifications are met.Performs other duties as assigned or required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilitiesSkills Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills and AbilitiesReads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.Sustained concentration or prolonged commitment to job tasks.Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.Performs other duties as required or assigned.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (required).6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).Computer Skills NoneCertificates and Licenses NoneBenefitsIf you want to work for a company with a passion for quality and innovation, consider Franklin Electric, or one of our companies.
