Winter 26/27: Tubing OperatorKillington/Pico Ski Resort is hiring Tubing Operators. We're all about having a good time and experiencing all these mountains have to offer, while providing the best possible experience for our guests. The job of the Tubing Park Attendant is to execute the proper, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of our guests. To inspect, record and report the condition of all lift machinery. To provide maximum ticket security by ensuring each guest has a valid pass and to understand and promote KPSRP products and services. Join our team and work where you play!Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Daily inspection and safe operation of lifts, gondolas, and or attractionsExecute opening procedures, daily operations and closing procedures for Lift OperationsResponsible for the safe loading and unloading of guests from an assigned liftKnowledgeably and efficiently administer emergency procedures including lift breakdowns, evacuation, fire, and accident reporting. Communicate to guests, when appropriate, the status of a lift breakdownExecute opening procedures, daily operations and closing procedures for Lift Access OperationsProvide a safe and presentable lift area by maintaining snow/ice buildup, removing trash and litter, and keeping low clearance/portal areas marked and visibleUsing the tools provided remove excess snow/ice from lift areas including but limited to the load/unload areas, maze, and low clearance/portal areasProvide an active and efficient flow of guests through the mazeEnsure ticket security by monitoring RFID gate access for validation of passesExcellent ongoing guest serviceCommunicate and make quick decisions and be a source of knowledgeable information in dealing with guest needs or questions as they arisePerform other tasks as assignedBasic Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have reliable transportation which includes the busMust be able to adhere to early morning starting timesMust be available to work weekends and holidaysRequired Knowledge and Skills:Excellent attitude, self-motivatingAbility to work independently and at times with little supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to handle emergency situations effectivelySuperior guest service experienceAdequate language skills and reasoning abilityAdequate problem solving and troubleshooting skillsMust be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time throughout the dayMust be able to work outside, in all weather conditionsIntermediate Ski/Ride ability preferredIt is the policy of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC to provide equal opportunity and employment to all staff and applicants.
