Job description
The City of Thornton is accepting applications for an on-call Warming Center Team member to serve the community during severe weather events in the 2026/2027 winter season. This seasonal, on-call role requires readiness for minimal notice when shelter is needed and involves coordinating motel vouchers and shelter services.
Team members provide shelter support, assist with registrations, coordinate with shelter staff and law enforcement as needed, and help ensure safety, sanitation, and daily
