Job description
Sanding and Wiping PositionSand and wipe product on the finishing line.Perform sanding duties on the line using a sanding block or sanding sponge. (careful to sand with the grain of the wood)Perform wiping duties on the line using a wiping rag. (Careful to wipe with the grain of the wood and checking for rag marks or drag marks)Communicate with various departments and personnel.Maintain production and quality standards.Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.Perform all duties in a safe manner.Actively participate with the natural work team.Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor.Follow all environmental policies.At minimum must be cross trained in job prior to and after current position in process flow.Performs other duties as assigned by management.May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.Ability to read and understand move tickets.Ability to sand and wipe all finishes.Must have the ability to identify various finishes and wood species.Must have excellent attention to detailMust have good teamwork/communication skills.Full timeCabinetworks Group (the "Company") is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
