Wire CutterNow hiring for a Wire Cutter Location: Spring Grove, IL $16.00 per hour Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3 PM Master of the Machines. Keep 'Em Running, Keep the Pay Coming. Looking for Wire Cutter jobs in Spring Grove where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment. As a Wire Cutter, you'll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality cable and wire assemblies. This position involves setting up and operating wire cutting equipment, inspecting products for accuracy, performing basic machine maintenance, and supporting efficient production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.Experience Requirements Previous machine operation experience required. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred. Experience working with wire processing or wire cutting equipment is a plus. Ability to read a ruler to 1/64? and convert fractions to decimals.Job Duties Set up and operate wire cutting and stripping machines according to job specifications. Review cut sheets and job orders to ensure accurate production. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Inspect finished products to verify quality and compliance with specifications. Minimize material waste through proper machine setup and operation. Communicate equipment or production issues to supervisors. Use manual tools to cut and strip wire and cable as needed. Assist with additional production tasks as assigned.Physical Capabilities Lift and move wire spools and materials up to 70 pounds. Stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Maintain a fast-paced production workflow. Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
