Wire EDM Set Up And Operator - 1st ShiftLocal tool and die manufacturing company is seeking a Wire EDM Operator that can set up, operator and program.Job Location: Brunswick, OhioShift Hours: 6:00am-3:00pmBasic Function: The EDM Operator is responsible for setting up and programming electrical discharge machines to produce precision parts for tool-makers and designers. The operator will ensure optimal functionality and quality throughout the machining process.Job Duties:Set up and program EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality for precision part production.Operate multiple thru wire EDM machines efficiently.Measure and document dimensions of parts accurately to meet specifications.Monitor the EDM machining process closely, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet defined standards and specifications.Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and production efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or a related field preferred.Experience operating EDM machines: Set up and programmingStrong understanding of machining processes and precision part production.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Detail-oriented with strong measuring and inspection skills.Good problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality.
