Wood AssemblerExperienced Wood Assemblers | Trumbull, CT7am – 3:30pm | Monday-Friday | $18-$19/hourLingo Staffing is hiring Experienced Wood Assemblers for a well-established packaging manufacturer in Trumbull, CT. This is a hands-on position for someone with real carpentry, construction, woodworking, or crate-building experience who can read blueprints/cut sheets, use power tools safely, and build quality products to customer specifications.ResponsibilitiesBuild custom wooden crates, bases, skids, and crate caps using blueprints/cut sheetsUse nail guns, staple guns, power drills, grinders, hammers, utility knives, heat sealers, and other toolsMeasure materials accurately using a tape measure, with accuracy up to 1/8 inchRead, interpret, and identify possible cut sheet or stenciling errorsApply foam to wood crates using adhesives and complete specification checksSafely use ladders when assembling crate tops/capsAssemble bases or skids while crouching or kneeling, including use of a 20 lb nail gunLog in and out of jobs using the production planning system/Ops CenterFollow work instructions, production schedules, SOPs, PPE requirements, and safety proceduresQualifications2+ years of carpentry, woodworking, construction, crate-building, or similar hands-on assembly experience preferredMust be comfortable reading blueprints, cut sheets, measurements, and work instructionsStrong experience with hand tools, power tools, and dimensional measuring toolsBasic computer skills to log jobs in and out of the production systemAbility to work independently and maintain quality standardsComfortable standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, and working in a production environmentBilingual English/Spanish is a plusHigh School Diploma or GED preferredRequirementsPre-employment drug screen and background check required.#INDCONJob Id: 30475
