Job description
Student Support Services AssistantThe Student Support Services Assistant reports to the Director of the Academic Center for Tutoring (ACT) and the Director of the Center for Academic Coaching (CAC). The SSS Assistant collaborates with all ACT and CAC staff to ensure exceptional customer service is provided to students and other stakeholders while providing accurate and timely information via multiple channels of communication.- Providing quality customer service and maintaining professional relationships with constituents; - Monitoring student traffic for advisors and tutors, particularly during peak advising periods; - Communicating verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information (i.e., monitoring CAC and ACT email and answering phones); - Creating appointments, maintaining, collecting, and collating data gathered from the online scheduling system and SIS; - Supporting the center in marketing, recruiting, training, monitoring student staff, and assessing services; - Organizing and staffing internal and external events operating basic office equipment and software; - All other related duties as assigned.To be considered for a Federal Work Study Student Assistant, the applicant must be a current Columbus State University student, taking at least six (6) credit hour courses per semester.$8/hr.Resume Cover LetterIf you have any questions, please contact the Human Resources Office at or e-mail to
