Location: This is primarily an on-site opportunity in the Richmond/Henrico, Virginia area, offering close collaboration with our legal team. Limited flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.
Note: To be considered, candidates must be licensed to practice law in Virginia (or able to obtain admission promptly), have at least 1+ year of workers' compensation or comparable litigation experience, and genuinely enjoy negotiation, advocacy, and achieving outstanding client results.

Job Description
Manage plaintiff-side workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution.
Develop litigation strategy and build strong, evidence-driven cases.
Take and defend depositions.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and hearing materials.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
Represent clients before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.
Partner with medical providers, vocational experts, and other professionals to maximize case value.
Counsel clients throughout the litigation process with clear communication and trusted guidance.
Work closely with experienced legal support staff to efficiently move cases forward.
Qualifications
Active Virginia Bar license or ability to obtain admission promptly.
1+ years of workers' compensation, personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, or comparable litigation experience.
Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and communication abilities.
Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Passion for representing injured individuals and advocating on their behalf.
