nJob Title: Workers’ Compensation Case Manager - MUST HAVE WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXPERIENCE IN A LAW OFFICE
nThe Opportunity A growing California-based law firm with offices in Encino, Oakland, Riverside, and Palm Desert is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Case Manager. We have an opening for a Jr Case Manager, Case Manager, or Senior Case Manager based on experience in workers' compensation law.
nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in building and shaping a department from the ground up.
nPosition Overview The Case Manager will work directly with attorneys and staff to manage a caseload of workers’ compensation files from intake through resolution. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent client communication.
nKey Responsibilities
nManage and maintain workers’ compensation case files under attorney supervision
nCommunicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys
nTrack deadlines, appointments, and case progress to ensure timely movement of files
nRequest, review, and organize medical records and documentation
nMaintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and file records
nAssist with case strategy preparation and general administrative support
nQualifications
nMinimum 1+ year of experience handling Workers’ Compensation files
nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
nAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
nProfessional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor
nAbility to take direction and work with minimal supervision
nExperience with case management software is a plus
