About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workfront Technical Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale content operations and workflow automation solutions leveraging Adobe Workfront and Workfront Fusion. This role serves as the technical authority across complex content supply chain programs, partnering with marketing, creative, regulatory, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable content planning, intake, governance, and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep Workfront configuration expertise with strong integration and automation capabilities, enabling organizations to streamline content creation, review, approval, and publishing processes while improving operational efficiency, compliance, and visibility across the content lifecycle.

This Hybrid opportunity is open to individuals located in the San Francisco, Californiaand surrounding areas.

Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office.The project hours of operations will be Monday – Friday, in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.

Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier, BCforward, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Adobe Workfront solution architecture, including custom forms, object models, approval workflows, intake processes, routing logic, governance standards, and reporting frameworks.

Design and configure scalable content planning and campaign intake processes supporting multi-brand, multi-channel, and enterprise marketing operations.

Develop, maintain, and optimize Workfront Fusion scenarios to automate workflows, orchestrate cross-platform processes, and eliminate manual operational handoffs.

Facilitate technical design workshops, architecture reviews, stakeholder working sessions, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing activities.

Provide technical leadership and serve as the escalation point for complex Workfront, Fusion, integration, and workflow configuration challenges.

Establish governance standards including naming conventions, access controls, environment management, template libraries, and operational best practices.

Partner with business and technical teams to translate content operations requirements into scalable Workfront configurations and automation solutions.

Deliverables or Project Scope

Content planning and campaign execution.

Deliver Workfront Fusion integrations connecting Workfront with enterprise platforms such as DAM, CMS, CRM, and external content management systems.

Produce technical documentation including architecture diagrams, solution design documents, integration specifications, governance standards, and operational runbooks.

Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, retry mechanisms, and auditability controls for production automation scenarios.

Build portfolio, program, project template, reporting, and dashboard frameworks that improve visibility, resource utilization, and operational performance.

Support agile delivery execution through user story creation, effort estimation, dependency management, and release planning activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, Digital Operations, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Adobe Workfront configuration experience.

Minimum 3 years of Workfront Fusion development and workflow automation experience.

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale content planning, intake, and approval workflows.

Hands-on experience configuring project templates, custom forms, portfolios, programs, approval paths, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

Experience integrating Workfront with at least one enterprise content management, DAM, CRM, or marketing platform.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and enterprise integrations.

Experience leading client-facing workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and technical design reviews.

Demonstrated experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Adobe Workfront Core Developer Certification.

Adobe Workfront Fusion Certification.

Experience implementing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites and Assets) integrations.

Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer.

Experience working within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated environments.

Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats, Veeva CRM, or eWizard content delivery ecosystems.

Experience within a Big 4 consulting firm, global systems integrator, or enterprise consulting environment.

Advanced knowledge of Workfront APIs, GraphQL, event subscriptions, and custom integration development.

Experience designing multi-brand, multi-region, and multi-channel content operations frameworks.

Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on configuration and implementation activities.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

Successfully delivers and deploys at least one enterprise-scale content intake and workflow solution into production.

Develops multiple production-ready Workfront Fusion automation scenarios with robust monitoring and error management.

Establishes a scalable governance framework adopted by both delivery teams and client stakeholders.

Becomes the trusted technical advisor and primary subject matter expert for Adobe Workfront within the program.

Improves workflow efficiency, reduces manual effort, and enhances visibility across the content supply chain through automation and process optimization.

Compliance Notes

This is a contractor role administered through a third-party payroll supplier. The supplier will determine compensation, benefits, and applicable employment policies. The contractor will not be eligible for employee benefits from Accenture.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer BCforward, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.

As required by law, below you’ll find the reasonable range of compensation BCforward expects to pay for this role as set forth below.

We anticipate this contractor role will be posted until 10/02/2026.
