Working Board Member - Youth Trafficking Prevention Nonprofit

Youth Rising-Up Initiative (YRUI) is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing youth vulnerability to human trafficking and exploitation through creative, trauma-informed, and experiential methods.

We’re building a Working Board: a group of community members and professionals who can open doors, lend expertise, and help us grow our presence and impact across Colorado.

What We’re Looking For

We’re specifically looking for:

Business community connections – Business owners and professionals with strong local connections who can help us build relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community leaders. This is an area where we are actively building our reach and need it most.

Community events – Event planners and community-engagement professionals who can help identify, create, plan, and staff community events where YRUI can build relationships, raise awareness, and expand our presence.

Fundraising & development – Fundraising and development professionals who can help identify funding opportunities and build relationships with donors, supporters, and potential funders.

Marketing & communications – Marketing, communications, public relations, or social media professionals who can help tell YRUI’s story and expand our visibility.

Legal support – Attorneys who can provide occasional guidance on legal questions as they arise for a growing nonprofit.

You don’t need experience in human trafficking prevention to be considered. What matters most is a genuine commitment to the well-being of young people and a willingness to contribute your time, connections, or expertise where it can have the greatest impact for YRUI.
